Mom and Baby Home Visits

Home visits from a nurse are available to residents of Dickey County through the Maternal Child Health Program. These services are available at no charge to the client; however, Medicaid will be billed when applicable.

Nursing services may include:

  • Health education and support during pregnancy and postpartum periods.
  • Referrals to community resources.
  • Assessment and monitoring of newborn and child growth and development.
  • Parenting education regarding growth and development, childhood safety and immunizations.
  • Breast Pump Rental.

Who is this program for?

Any pregnant or postpartum woman living in Dickey County is eligible for a home visit.
