Ellendale Community Health Coalition
The Ellendale Community Health Coalition is dedicated to building a healthier community by bringing together local partners to promote wellness, address health concerns, and support prevention efforts. The coalition supports events, and programs that encourage healthy choices and improve quality of life for local residents. The coalition sponsors community wellness events such as blood drives and a 5k every year at the Dickey County Fair! We encourage individuals to register for the 90's 5k Fun Run on July 11th, 2026 by scanning the QR code on the flyer below!

Mosquito and Tick Safety
Summer brings more time outdoors, but it also increases exposure to mosquitos and ticks that can carry diseases. Taking a few simple precautions can help protect you and your family while enjoying the outdoors.
- Use EPA approved insect repellent
- Wear long sleeves and pants in wooded areas
- Check for ticks after outdoor activities
- Eliminate standing water around homes
