Spring Into Health!
As we welcome warmer weather and longer days, April is the perfect time to refocus on health, prevention, and community well-being. We are excited to share important dates, awareness topics, and community health information this month.
Important Dates!
- April 3rd – Closed
- April 6–10th – Public Health Week
- April 8th – Stroll 'N Roll
National Public Health Week
National Public Health Week is an annual observance that emphasizes the importance of building healthier communities. Public health works behind the scenes to protect your life every day; often without you even realizing it.
During public health week (April 6–12) we will be participating in Stroll 'N Roll North Dakota. This is a statewide coordinated walking event aimed at promoting the benefits of physical activity and social connection. This is a first of-its-kind event that is supported by Governor Armstrong and celebrates the community-based culture of North Dakota.
April is Alcohol Awareness Month
April is dedicated to increasing awareness about alcohol use and its impact on individuals, families, and communities.
- Understand the risks of excessive drinking
- Support prevention and early intervention
- Encourage healthy coping strategies
What's Happening?
Spring is a very busy season for us! We are actively in both schools providing education on growth and development, conducting scoliosis screenings, and providing dental education. In addition, we are offering immunizations and engaging in a variety of activities.
